As the days shorten, the lights glitter on the banks of the Limmat, and the first snowflakes fall in the mountains, it's time to ring in winter in style. On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the venerable Hotel Storchen Zurich, together with the renowned Alpina Gstaad, invites you to a special culinary evening at La Rôtisserie. Two top chefs—Martin Göschel from the Alpina Gstaad and Stefan Jäckel from the Storchen Zurich—come together for a gourmet summit that blends Alpine refinement and urban elegance. This evening will be accompanied by a carefully curated wine pairing by Stefano Petta, Director of Wine.

Guests can expect an incomparable experience that goes far beyond a classic dinner: a festive start to the winter season, characterized by creative cuisine, exquisite wines, and a personal encounter with the people behind the scenes.

 

The evening at a glance
 

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a stylish reception. Guests will enjoy aperitifs with fine snacks and a glass of Perrier-Jouët Champagne, while hotel manager Stephanie Meyer, along with representatives from Gstaad and Zurich Tourism, will open the event and introduce the two top chefs.

Starting at 7:00 p.m., the experience flows seamlessly into a multi-course menu. It begins with a delicate amuse-bouche, followed by two creative courses from Martin Göschel's kitchen, showcasing Alpine inspiration and regional produce at the highest level. The main course and dessert are by Stefan Jäckel, who incorporates Zurich's urban elegance into his dishes. Each course is personally presented by the chefs, offering insight into their philosophy and passion for culinary arts. Stefano Petta's carefully selected wine pairing enhances each dish with subtle nuances.

At the end of the evening, both chefs will appear together in the restaurant to celebrate the stylish start to the winter season with the guests – a moment of encounter and exchange that rounds off the evening.

The price for this exclusive evening is CHF 290 per person and includes a four-course menu, amuse-bouche, wine pairing, water, and coffee. The number of participants is limited to 60 guests.
